One of the most up-and-coming and highly thought of motorsport campaigns in the UK, is the Racing Hondas Championship.
Formed in 2023 by the Time Attack Organisation, who are no strangers to creating exciting motorsport programmes from the ground up and developing existing campaigns. Racing Hondas achieved full championship status from the word go, with the inaugural season featuring three classes defined by power-to-weight ratios that combined, welcomed a total of 33 drivers to the grid.
Thanks to a ground-breaking initiative introduced for 2024, 34 drivers – the maximum track capacity for three of the circuits the championship will be visiting – will be selected to receive a free entry, provided they register before the end of November. The only payment required is a registration fee of £80. It’s then just the cost of the car and consumables.
The 2024 Racing Hondas Championship will feature 16 rounds at seven meetings visiting six different venues. Each event will include Free Practice, Qualifying session and two races, all 15-minutes in duration.
Six of the meetings will be supported by large and popular car shows that means racing will take place in front of 1000s of spectators. Most events include public grid walks and showcase paddocks.
